Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced storage systems administrator who can work closely with the storage team in the US. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining storage systems, with expertise in Windows NTFS/DFS, Linux NFS/S3 and NetApp hardware and software. Experience with VAST storage solutions will be an advantage. Strong operations management and critical thinking skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and manage storage solutions using Windows NTFS/DFS and Linux NFS/S3.
- Configure, monitor and maintain NetApp hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee and manage VAST storage infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for storage-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for storage systems, processes, and procedures.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection.
- Collaborate within IT and with other departments to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve storage infrastructure continuously.
- Work closely with the US team in the planning, executing, and monitoring storage-related projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in storage system administration.
- Expertise in Windows NTFS/DFS and Linux NFS/S3.
- Extensive experience with NetApp storage solution, including relevant certifications.
- Experience with VAST storage solutions.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team remotely.
- Advanced certifications in storage technologies (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator).
